Icing on the cake
And to make me feel so much better about my future prospects in the neighborhood, I dropped a note to some new apartments coming up in the area. Admittedly they are across the street from the Giant, a block away from the Metro and right across the street from the new DCUSA developing shopping center (Target, Best Buy, Washington Sports Club, etc).
The Leasing Agent was happy to inform me that their 2-bedroom units start at $2700/mo.
Hurrah for gentrification…
