Pride 2007: Interlude / Frank

Got a good bead on laundry, nearly done with the iced latte and I can feel it’s magic workin’ on me. I need to take some things over the dry cleaners but I am reluctant to head back outside. It’s sticky out there, definitely a commando day if ever there was one.

For a lack of distraction, I’ve been listening to music today instead of putting on a movie though it might be “Down With Love” time in a moment while I fold clothes. But I’ve been enjoying Amy Winehouse’s first album Frank, the songs are just as much fun as on Back to Black but one tune, “You Sent Me Flying (Cherry)” has seen a lot of play and even a rating — I’m usually too lazy to rate tracks, but I wanted to make sure this one showed up in party shuffle more often.

And that concludes my first test of the audio file plug-in, now it’s back to folding clean clothes. 🙂

* oops! be mindful of speaker volume when clicking play, this plug-in doesn’t seem to have a volume control… back to the drawing board and the wordpress codex!

** found a plug-in with volume control, apologize for any inconvenience. 😉

Not to get into too many specifics, but doesn’t hot & sticky + commando = major chafing issues?

(Yes, I do speak from experience 😥 )

These shorts have enough room in that er.. certain part of the male attire, so that it isn’t really a problem. But for the parade later, I do plan to have an extra layer down there. 😀

Oooh Amy Winehouse. Have you heard F-Me pumps?

She’s playing at Lollapalooza here, I’m halfway contemplating enduring the fest to see her, the Roots, Common and Lupe Fiasco.

Hmm Commando is the way to go
    😈

Oh yes, I play this album a lot. More than Back to Black. I guess I like her less commercial songs from the first album, but she’s an amazing artist.

That’s a great line up on the bill. I’ve yet to go to a Lollapalooza, I haven’t been to a big multi-artist concert since the HFStival and some other REM Free Tibet type concert here in DC ages ago.
