80s: It’s worked so far, but we’re not out yet.

It’s been a pretty uneventful morning which, for a Friday, is not too shabby. I wouldn’t really know what’s taking place in the here and now anyway as I’ve been listening to an 80s mix from Strom Carlson that Scott sent me yesterday, Time and Salt.

I don’t know why, but yesterday I was struck with a need to hear some 80s music. Unfortunately most of the music in my digital library is more modern stuff, because I have notebooks full of cds that I have yet to burn in. It’s like nearly 600 cds… I think. Yes, I know, I was a consumer whore back in the day. I still am, but that’s beside the point. I really need to find my Swing Out Sister cd, or re-buy the album. There something about the song “Twilight World” that makes many a sour day feel all right.

Wishing everyone a big-haired hello from the 80s and let’s all have a swift and uneventful workday! 😉
