August 23, the birth of the World Wide Web. A truly important day, for without it, I never could have filled up “the internets” with tons upon tons of photos! Here are a few fun memories from last year, and 3 and 4 years ago.

Renew! Renew! …my iPhone!

So, you know what’s fun? When your smartphone, for no apparent reason, decides to have a complete operating system collapse. I managed to renew, restore and refresh it to factory settings and instead of restoring a backup, I started fresh. I know people say it, but it really is like having a brand new phone (that’s pre-smeared with your own finger grease).

Neither Paramount Studios nor The Smithsonian couldn’t know the cultural impact Star Trek would have when they donated the original U.S.S. Enterprise model in 1974. After decades of neglect, it’s getting a proper restoration and display in the main hall.
