Sunrise is later and it’s gotten a little colder in the morning in recent days, so my early morning walks are starting to be replaced with late morning ones.
A while back, I was listening to my usual podcast on my morning walk. “Runaway” by Dee-Lite was the vibe I wanted for the birthday weekend trip to Philly.
If only it were as simple as uttering, “I never did mind about the little things.” when things get to be a bit much. Sadly I’m not a super spy and have to deal.
While World Pride was out loud and proud in DC, I took a little getaway up the road to Philly and had a more chill weekend, but no less fun for me. Happy Pride!
I know the Serenity Prayer but sometimes I get stuck on things that maybe I can change. And when that still doesn’t work, I have to force myself to stop.
On my walks around the neighborhood and DC, I see a lot of flyers and felt like they deserved to be shared. Sometimes you can help by getting the message out.
Sometimes you already know before the week starts that it’s going to be a rough one. This sign outside Joe & the Juice truly sees you. A nice weekend overall.
Seen on my daily walk to and from the park in DC. It’s a message I can get behind and one that would well serve all of us. Definitely: be kind…
Related to my previous post about too much stuff… on a recent walk, I saw someone used a local Little Free Library stands to set some graphic novels free.
