I’m doing my best to keep up with things over here. February has been A. MONTH. but I’m hanging in there. Definitely ready for Spring, though! No more snow.
Recently someone said “we’re 25% of the way through” and I assumed they meant through a short week to Friday. No, they meant the current administration.
A while back, I was listening to my usual podcast on my morning walk. “Runaway” by Dee-Lite was the vibe I wanted for the birthday weekend trip to Philly.
Another potpourri post of stuff that’s going on lately. It’s a new month, it’s my birthday month and, I’m doing my best to take it easy. So far? Success!
A few thoughts about where things are, and how I feel stuck. Surviving, but not necessarily thriving. Taking stock of my feelings? That’s what a blog is for!
I’m not just rooting for everybody Black. I’m rooting for everybody. But what does that look like, and how do I include myself in that in a healthy way?
If only it were as simple as uttering, “I never did mind about the little things.” when things get to be a bit much. Sadly I’m not a super spy and have to deal.
While World Pride was out loud and proud in DC, I took a little getaway up the road to Philly and had a more chill weekend, but no less fun for me. Happy Pride!
