Said about “The Mummy” – There is some spectacular art design, but the entire creative program is stated cold in two remarks by Fraser: “I feel like I’ve been here before,” and “We don’t have time for subtle.”
Not that I don’t plan to go see it anyway. I was supposed to see it this weekend with Chris, at least I’d mentioned it and he said he thought it was a good idea. Then Sunday I talk to him online and he’s heading out that day to see it with some friends. *shrug* Sometimes being friends with him is like dating Darian. In one ear, out the other. Sometimes for me, admission of being an airhead, still doesn’t excuse you from the consequences.
