D&D: “A Walk on the Wild (Magic) Side” Benefitting Child’s Play Charity!

It’s been a minute since I was in a charity D&D game, so tune in this and next Saturday as Gaarawarr leads me, Jen Brazas, Michelle Chiang, and Erik Scott de Bie through a 2-part one-shot—I know what I said—in aid of Child’s Play Charity!

Flyer for D&D charity game, A Walk on the Wild (Magic) Side. A two-part event taking place on October 17th, 2026 and October 24th, 2026.
Streams start at 6:30 pm Central US Time. A fundraiser for Child's Play Charity. Watch at https://www.twitch.tv/gaarawarr/
Look at those great faces! I’m sure nothing bad will befall us…

I am dusting off Sylvester for the event. They are my one-shot Bard who is great in social situations, and perhaps not much else. I mean, they do have spells and such, but combat isn’t their niche. I should probably get pom-poms so I can cheer the others on…

Still after our session zero, I think viewers are in for a treat with this group. So mark your calendars, and hopefully see you this weekend and next weekend!

It should be a good time, I’m always nervous ahead of a game because I don’t get to play TTRPGs (D&D or other games) as often as I’d like. So I don’t have as many of the game rules memorized as I used to, but this seems like a table that’s going to be forgiving and mostly down for fun!

Also, it’s taking place Saturday evenings which will run into my wind-down and bedtime, so careful-eyed viewers may notice me slowly trend towards nodding off as we reach the end of each session!

Be sure to come through to watch some D&D, have a good time and donate to a good cause!
