urban omens
There must be a list of urban omens for city dwellers. On the way to work I saw two cabbies nearly come to blows over one hijacking a fare from the other.. Saw three ladies talking to someone that no one else could see (not on a cell phone headset).. And on the metro, from two rows away, I could hear someone else’s music/headphones over my own.
As if the day wasn’t already gloomy enough, I feel as though it’s going to be worse.
