Video Games are Stress Release *pew pew!*
I know, I promised a story about dating, but it’s been a bit of a rough week already and I’m not really finding the urge to write about that just yet. Plus we’ve been through a computer refresh at work, so the 15 or so minutes I’d normally pound out — *snrk — 3-500 words, I’m mostly spending trying to get my development tools installed.
In the meantime, please enjoy a very silly and fun broadcast from Sunday night. Y’all know I stream video games on Twitch, right?
It should come as no surprise that I don’t really watch football, or care about the Super Bowl…
My dad used to call home from whatever superb owl party they’d go to, to say, “please, I wish you’d watch the game” so honestly fuck yo sports.
And with everything we know about athletes’ health and the NFL cover ups?
FUCK. YO’. SPORTS.

But I do come through for the Haltime Show, except not for that dude. So instead of worrying about the NFL, I decided to keep the “Janet Jackson Appreciation Day” vibes going with some Overwatch and a sing-along and some musings and thoughts along the way.
Thanks to everyone who showed up for the chat and those who watched later and shared their laughs with me.
In looking at past social media postings, right about now is when I usually get burned out on a lot of things, work most notably, so I’m just trying to hang in there, wait out the cold weather so I can get some regular exercise in again. Read a book or a comic or two, catch up on TV and video games. I should probably mark the calendar for next year so I can see this potentially coming again and try to head it off.
But for now, it’s back to work and back to hunting down my software. Hope everyone is having a good day.
