Chatting with Lindsay the other evening did make me realize that what I was refusing to put a word on and what I was about to fall prey to yet again in my life was giving my all when I wasn’t getting the same in return. effort to put it succintly. having an interest in someone takes little to no effort, displaying that interest takes some effort. And like a scale, if it’s being heaped upon one side and not the other, it’s easily noticed. If you’re interested in someone, you make time and take the time to include them. If it appears that you aren’t, then it implies a lack of interest.

The question is, how long will the other party retain their interest… ?
