Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot, turn…

I worked from home today. By that, I mean I actually worked. Some people may notice that my IM traffic was a little less than usual today because I had the IM sessions up on one computer while I worked from another. But then I found out OmniPage has a batch function and I was getting through things much faster. I have a crapload of PDFs that needed to be OCRd to Word format so I was working on those all day today and because of that, I missed out on my RSS feeds, my usual surfing places. I did take a little break for lunch and though I might take a walk, but got downstairs and was all “screw this heat!”

Since I usually blog as a mini escape from dealing with the crap of the office… and I wasn’t there today… no blog post! The few things that I did catch up on later were Towleroad making sure to feature a shirtless, chained-up Milo Ventimiglia and of course the rapidly spreading around the internet statement, “In Iran, we don’t have homosexuals”.

On his blog, Frankie featured a YouTube capture of a sketch from the recent A Bucket o’ French and Saunders series, and being the Virgo that I am, I couldn’t let that sit out on the internet waves in an improper and inferior format, and it is a funny sketch. Throughout the episode, the new material involved Jennifer trying out for various reality competition shows and Dawn playing a range of celebrity judges, spoofing How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?, The Apprentice (UK), Britain’s Got Talent and of course America’s Next Top Model

The first time I watched this, it was just after I’d gotten back from the airport after midnight last Saturday (Sunday?) and I really needed the laugh. It did not disappoint.

For some reason known only to aboriginal tribes I don’t have you on my IM buddy list. This should be remedied with the quickness.

I’m JNCNeal on AIM, kudzu71 on gtalk…whichever you prefer as your IM client of choice.

    😆

Thanks for this morning’s Tyra mail. It’s funny to see this spoof of Tyra, especially the legs. I had a my good morning laugh.
