You’re frozen.. when you’re in Grand Central…
I so love Improv Everywhere! Their latest scene, Frozen Grand Central:
On a cold Saturday in New York City, the world’s largest train station came to a sudden halt. Over 200 Improv Everywhere Agents froze in place at the exact same second for five minutes in the Main Concourse of Grand Central Station.
I used to wish that we did stuff this cool in DC, however the No Pants Metro Ride gained a little too much notoriety here before the event and ended up making the rounds of the local blogs and got to the Post and to Metro police, so it’s clear people don’t quite understand the concept. However local DC blogs are kinda into spoilers as one’s already been dinged many times for releasing early concert ticket passwords thereby making the early release moot. However people still went through with it and apparently it was great, and some people might want to identify themselves to get some dates.
I’d love a local arm of Improv Everywhere or similar to start some flash mobs. Spontaneous dance numbers, pillow fights, people all wearing the same outfit? It could be a lot of fun!
That is the definition of awesome. 🙂
I love that it ended JUST as the driver was starting to freak out.
That is THE BEST flash mob I have seen or heard about yet. Thanks for sharing.
