deals: Groupon Now! $1 Lunch
While there isn’t as much detail as Living Social’s Dollar Lunch Day back in April, Groupon will be offering Groupon Now!™ $1 Lunch Deals in selected cities today.†
Friday [November 18, 2011] only, Groupon Now! will offer thousands of lunch deals on demand for $1. To celebrate this event, we’ll also be partnering with Feeding America to provide half-a-million meals to families in need this holiday season.
There aren’t any details on the page as yet, just a message, “Check Back Friday for $1 Lunch Deals” but I’m sure they’ll soon realize that it’s already Friday.
Update: The deals page is live and showing restaurants for various cities. The DC deals are a little paltry, but they’re there.
As always, buy early and show up early since the demand is often well above a venue’s usual traffic. Not all of us can take long lunches, even on a Friday!
