Julia Child… (and Her Amazing Friends)

I absolutely love this photo of Julia Child filming a promo for “The French Chef” in 1964. It embodies the reason I’ve never quite made any food/recipe/cooking videos for YouTube: it’s a heck of a lot of work!

August 23, a year or three or four ago…

August 23, the birth of the World Wide Web. A truly important day, for without it, I never could have filled up “the internets” with tons upon tons of photos! Here are a few fun memories from last year, and 3 and 4 years ago.

Renew! Renew! …my iPhone!

So, you know what’s fun? When your smartphone, for no apparent reason, decides to have a complete operating system collapse. I managed to renew, restore and refresh it to factory settings and instead of restoring a backup, I started fresh. I know people say it, but it really is like having a brand new phone (that’s pre-smeared with your own finger grease).
