my first pony… I mean post

Ok, so I’ve been thinking about doing something like this on my site for a long long time, and I think, do I want people to know stuff like this? Do I want to express things that may concern my family or friends in a public forum? I kept going ’round and ’round and eventually decided to go ahead and do it. This site is all about me, and this is as me as you can get so here we go…

X-men is out this week, and for once I really am looking forward to a movie. Generally I know there will be things I don’t like about it (Halle Berry’s wig for one), but this isn’t my movie and when I have the money and fame to make one of my own, I will.

In case you hadn’t guessed, the job situation isn’t pretty for me right now. I work for OAO Corporation as a Web Developer, Lotus Notes Developer, Graphic Designer, Jack of All Trades and All Around Guru. I’m working on a government contract at the EPA and there’s very little I don’t do for this place, yet I remain underpaid, underappreciated, and underpromoted due to some old man’s idea that since they suffered and wasted money on a college degree that I should have to as well. Regardless of the fact that I’m outperforming people 10 years my senior.
