Just got a nice reminder that friends are fleeting. This friend Doug, his picture is even on my website, I just saw him on AOL, and sent him a hello, long time no see, etc, message. No response. Waited. No response. Sent a follow-up note. No response. There was a time when we were inseparable. Not any more, I guess.
