some things never change
I just saw this article on science-fairs. I guess they’re still around and going strong. Oddly enough with mine, all I can remember is doing the research, and being ready information-wise, however the presentation was last-minute, parents helping, driving to hardware store, attaching hinges to plywood affairs.
Oddly enough I realize the same feeling is alive today whenever one of my co-workers has a project due. They scramble around at the last minute regardless of how much time they’ve been saying that they’re “ready”.
