Much as I love what few friends I have, by the gods I can’t stand when I get an IM that’s just a weblink. No hello, no follow-up, just a link. Now if it’s in the course of a conversation, then I can understand, otherwise, it’s just annoying. Probably ‘cos it reminds me of those people that traverse the chat services, IRC, ICQ, AIM, AOL, Yahoo, and all they do is spam strangers with weblinks.

In other news, this past weekend was highly productive for me, something must have been in the proper aligment ‘cos I cleaned up more in my apartment than I have in the year+ since I moved in. Yes, it just *might* have something to do with Al visiting, but even so it’s nice to have a place that’s nice and clean and neat and somewhat tidy. I don’t think I’ll ever be 100% clean, but I think a little mess implies that I’m not a harsh perfectionist (regardless of my Virgo-ness).

The PC carrying the living room webcam decided to take apowder, so I’m going to have to sort out ways to get the second one back up and running. Or not. It depends on whether people even care or not. Recently I’m trying to decide if I want to keep it going. I admit I do enjoy it as a part of my website, however I think that ‘cos of the cams I’ve seen a lot more of the dregs of gay society coming out of the woodwork. At least according to the e-mails that I get from my viewers. Why should I keep sinking money into it so that I can be a lesser exhibitionist? Unless, of course, I find out that people actually are interested in seeing my cameras continue (I’m skeptical though, since when one goes down, they just move on to another one that works).
