I swear I was joking..
But its still funny. I was leaving today and everyday I’ve been letting the manager know when I’m leaving, since I don’t have the luxury of sitting right near his desk where he’d see me leave.
As I was leaving he said “It’s been a good first week!” and I said “Yes it has, I think I’ll stay!” – and he said “Good!!” (yes two exclamation points), there was definitely a feeling of relief in his voice albeit brief.
I was only kidding. But it’s nice to feel needed.
