Visiting with ‘s family was a nice enough Thanksgiving. It’s always an odd thing when you visit with a friends’ parents. They can behave for only so long before they revert to type and you stop wondering if your friend was just making it all up. Overall it was nice, their house/property is wonderful, their dog is out of control (there’s one more pet-related clothing damage story for me now) and their entertainment system for watching movies is great.
After I got in, I had a dinner meeting, but more about that later.
