The Joy of Saving

I did forget to mention this weekend that I went to the grocery store and saved $45 on my purchases. My bill was still $80, but I think saving over a third off my grocery bill was pretty darn good. And I have enough food to feed myself for a good while, plus baking supplies, cereal, soups.. it was a good trip.
I’m going through this week’s circular online now and I don’t see as many deals, which is fine since I’ll be out of town next week for a few days anyway. But if there are some staples on sale, never hurts to stock up.
I bet they wait til AFTER christmas to put frozen lean cuisine/healthy choice meals on sale. 😛
