bit of a bummer
I went to lunch around the corner to Vie de France, and in the same building is USDA’s Graduate School. I saw two EPA employees that I’d worked with a lot, and they looked at me and said “Oh, hi! Are you here for a class too?” I told them that I’d been let go back in September, and there was a “Sorry to hear that.” and I moved along.
It’s just a little bit of a bummer to think that I’m not even missed. Yes it was a crap job, but *I* did a good job while I was there. Why don’t ex-coworkers have as long a memory as ex-boyfriends? 🙂
