The apartment I was supposed to go see tonight has been rented. They should sell the three-tone announcement the phone company uses, for general purposes.
*arpeggio-beep* (monotone) “We’re sorry, the apartment you are looking for, 1. bedroom. basement. in Cleveland. Park. has been rented. Please try again later.”
But at least now my evening is free, I can see Law & Order and possibly watch Dick.
