and now, a woman’s perspective…

As we left the show last night, I asked Jenifer if she would review it for me, being of the female persuasion as she is. This was her assessment as sent to her boifriend.

Oh, the drag king show last night was HORRIBLE. They started 40 minutes late, the sound equipment was buzzing horribly, and a FIGHT started right next to me. There was a photographer there from MW (not the lovely michael wichita) since this was apparently the 5th anniversary show, and he took pictures of the asses to my left and the straight couple (!) on my right, but ignored brian and me. And can I just say — lesbians are the rudest mofos on the planet, talking nonstop, getting drunk and stupid, wandering around during an act, etc. We’d gone to the cybercafe beforehand and looked at people, so that was fun.
