free Opera Web Browser
They did it for their birthday, and perhaps the response was so great that they decided to do it again. Opera Web Browser is free.
Opera has removed the banners, found within our browser, and the licensing fee. Opera’s growth, due to tremendous worldwide customer support, has made today’s milestone an achievable goal. Premium support is available.
Way cool. I dunno if I’ll move to it totally, but it’s always nice to have another choice.
I use it, but we have found that sometimes a site just will not allow its use. I actually like it much better than IE. HWMBO does not like it much (it used to be very very slow; now it’s just very slow).
I took advantage of the free browser for my laptop. It’s worthwhile.
I likes my firefox. I’ve played with opera and didn’t like it too much.
The nice thing about Opera is it installs without needed Admin privileges on Windows 2000, so I can use it at work so I have another browser to test with, which is nice. I like Firefox’s Find functionality better then Opera, but Opera seems a lot faster is supposed to have a smaller memory footprint.
I’ll probably stick with Firefox just because it’s what I’m used to.
