TrekMovie posted the above image, released by FOX, from an upcoming (March 29) episode of Family Guy starring the voice talents of the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

In the episode titled “Not All Dogs Go to Heaven,” the “Next Gen” crew (Patrick Stewart, Levar Burton, Gates McFadden, Michael Dorn, Wil Wheaton, Denise Crosby, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner and Jonathan Frakes) will provide guest voices as the Griffin family heads to the annual Quahog “Trek” convention.

Stewie blows a fuse when he doesn’t get a chance to ask his favorite ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ cast members any questions,” reads the logline. “He devises a plan, builds a transporter and beams the entire cast to his bedroom so they can spend a fun-filled day together in Quahog.

I, uh… can’t help but notice Wil Wheaton appears to be wearing a red shirt. Has the apparent dislike that everyone else–like near the entire internet–has for him spread to the writers and does this signal certain doom? 😉

OMG, Will is wearing a read shirt. For a moment I got him mixed up with Frakes, since I have now become accustomed to seeing Wheaton with a beard. Poor Will. He was a victim of terrible writing and hateful fanboys. I actually like him very much, and judging from their Twitter interactions, so do Burton and Spiner.

Wheaton’s all geeky cool now – the animosity towards him has long since dissipated by the Trek faithful. The one you should worry about is Crosby – she’s suspiciously absent in the group picture, but mentioned in the list…

@Esprix: Holy crap, I totally missed that Denise isn’t in the shot. I wonder if she’ll get the “Welshie” treatment a la Futurama ‘Where No Fan Has Gone Before’?

And honestly, who ever remembers Crosby?* Sad, but true!

    * aside from fan fic writers, I mean.
