photo: prophet of the long road

Wednesday night is our standing “ürb is tired of cooking, so we’re going out to eat” night, and often we can rope a friend or two into joining us. We were lucky enough to have some amazingly non-humid weather, so when Cashion’s Eat Place was designated as the dinner venue, the boy and I walked from our place down to Adams Morgan.

We pass the Francis Asbury Memorial along 16th Street all the time, and it’s usually positioned pretty well for a quick photo even at the worst times, but last night it was looking a bit more mystical than usual–especially after a touch of post-processing on the iPhone.

I’m looking forward to a few more amazing weather days in the week ahead as I am not a fan of the heat, but a nice long walk after work might be in order while we still have these breezy afternoons.
