long ambients1: calm. sleep. by moby
Just moby, giving away some free ambient music, as you do. I absolutely love ambient music, mostly for sleep, but occasionally for meditation or relaxation.
over the last couple of years i’ve been making really really really quiet music to listen to when i do yoga or sleep or meditate or panic. i ended up with 4 hours of music and have decided to give it away.
you can download it for free below or stream it on spotify, soundcloud, apple music, deezer & tidal.
it’s really quiet: no drums, no vocals, just very slow calm pretty chords and sounds and things for sleeping and yoga and etc. and feel free to share it or give it away or whatever, it’s not protected or anything, or at least it shouldn’t be.
thanks

He’s made the album available for free download, and available to stream on Spotify, Soundcloud, Apple Music, Deezer and Tidal or purchase from iTunes and Google Play. Re: the latter two, there’s really no need to pay for the album, but those services are probably more cagey about allowing free downloads.
I’m always glad to have another album to add to the “sleepytime” rotation. I listen to Brian Eno’s Ambient 1: Music for Airports a lot, and recently have discovered ASMR videos on YouTube, but falling asleep to YouTube isn’t as easy and those are really designed to be listened to with headphones.
Download, enjoy, share, relax!
I also like Music for Airports, but I often listen to Starflight 1 from Hearts of Space. I look forward to listening to this album tonight. Thanks for mentioning it.
