Diversity Is Our Greatest Strength
I’ll admit that I’m a little tapped out right now. Anything I say is coming out of my mouth (or fingers) near literally on fire and it’s exhausting.
I’ve found myself with a surplus of vacation hours1, so have been taken an extra day off here and there, so was off yesterday following Veterans Day weekend and saw these chalk messages written on nearby Columbia Heights Civic Plaza. For a moment, even though it wasn’t long-lived, they put me in a slightly better frame of mind.
Unfortunately we had some rain last night, so I don’t know how many are still there. Yes, we’ll get through this, and sure good vibes are needed. But I feel like, in the days ahead, our actions will be needed a lot more than our words.
1 Because I can never afford to go anywhere and also live. Applications always being accepted for a sugar daddy.
