perky always wins out…
I just called HP Tech Support after confirming with FedEx that my notebook did indeed arrive at their receiving center and the woman I spoke to was extremely perky. One of those kind of perkies that you have to be really pissed off not to succumb to. She apologized profusely and confirmed that they do have my notebook. So we’ll see what happens now.
I feel slightly better about it, but I’m still pretty peeved. I’m still convinced that the words “customer care” are meaningless to HP, but so long as they do what they said they would do at least this 1 out of the 5 or 6 calls made to them, I will be content.
