Trying to hide my curiosity, struggling to keep my sidewards glances from turning into a full-on stare, I scanned her ears for the mysterious culprit. Boy, I thought, this headset must be tiny. No trace of a boom mic, nothing visible over the ear. Then it hit me: I’d been duped.
Yes, laidies and gentleman, this woman was crazy. Schizophrenic, delusional, you name it. Quite harmless, to be sure. But crazy all the same.
