The dumb leading the legally blind

The reporter, legally blind Peter Wallsten had enough class not to explain that fact to Bush, bravo to him. But still, Bush has to play such a yokel and get a laugh in so many of his press conferences in a way to downplay his ignorance or insufficient responses. It’s just plain dumb. Not to say that every person you see with shades on is blind or legally blind*, but generally when on TV asking questions of the President or White House officials, most reporters don’t try to look cool in a sunglasses kinda way.

* anymore than every person sitting on the near-the-door seats on Metro is elderly or a person with disabilities… wankers.
