Sun, drinks and fun

A mini-twitter meet up yesterday afternoon had me, James and Fredo ending up at a friend o’ James’ birthday get together. Much fun was had, many drinks were had, much sun was soaked up — which caught up with me later that evening. All of the pictures can be seen here, but I will advise that some of them are rather risqué for prudish environments, but there is no nudity just a rather frank (and in my opinion greatly exaggerated) depiction of… portable anatomy.

It was a great time, even though I nearly missed out on all of it because I really could have used the sleep. I didn’t get in the evening (morning?) before until about 3:30 or so and had cocktails and two (shared) bottles of wine in me. I went out for brunch and it still didn’t take care of things so I went back to bed for a nap when I got in and my body decided that a 30 min nap wasn’t going to cut it… nearly an hour later I managed to rouse myself, shower and change to get down to Dupont Circle.

Still I’m glad I did otherwise I might have missed out on snapping the following bit of short video. As above, it’s a little risqué, but hilarious, so it’ll be after the jump. Note to self: Rotating video is not easily bundled in any of your applications, avoid it in the future…
