Last one, I promise!
So… AIDS Walk Washington! I know I said I wouldn’t make any more specific entries about it, but well, I lied.
As it turns out, I did exceed my initial $500 goal, and I raised my new goal to $750. Obviously any donation helps, and I’m not goal-obsessed like a deranged public television pledge drive, however I will take a page from the caffeine-wired hosts that frequently interrupt my Britcoms and Dr. Who viewing…
For everyone that makes (or has made) a donation, I will make an additional donation of $10. I wish I could match everyone’s donation dollar for dollar, but I just don’t have the funds right now. So far, I’ve gotten 10 donations, so that’s $100 more I’ll be putting in this week.
So once again, if you’re willing and able to help me out, great. If you’re walking, let me know, and even if you’re not registered, but know someone that’s walking, think about coming out and joining them for the moral support! This applies to AIDS Walk Washington, as well as other cities’ walks, rides, etc.
October is also National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so if anyone needs some monetary or able-bodied support for activities this month, hit me up!
