I broke the chain!

À la Jerry Seinfeld, I had a good little daily writing streak going there for a while, but it got interrupted. No worries, I’m back and hopefully back in the swing of things. I spent the weekend ferrying “the invalid” out to his parents’ place on the Chesapeake Bay and we just got back a few hours ago. It was a nice weekend, his parents are terrific hosts, and I got some artwork out of it! Right now I’m trying to get a little de-cluttering done tonight, I’ve got tv to catch up on and I’m pondering a little treat for din-din. Even though I should take it easy as I’ve lost nearly a stone since I started paying more attention to what I eat, but I feel like I really deserve a bit of pampering before I get back into the swing of things here.

Took plenty of photos, got a lot of rest, realized that cell signals and wifi are very hard to find on the outskirts of civilization, learned how to play dominoes Mexican Train style, got way more views of Justin’s scar & staples than I needed and did a little geek computer work around the house. And I got to spend plenty of time playing with a very active Shiba…
