We’re fine. We’re all fine here now, thank you… How are you?
Thank you very much train conductor of train 4045 for overshooting the U St. station platform and instead of announcing anything, just sealing the doors of the first car and continuing on as if nothing happened. I’m not sure what’s worse though, the fact that the conductor didn’t say anything or that the passengers set to get off that station completely failed to notice that our train car was in the tunnel.
After the train moved forward towards the next station, one woman called the conductor to say “Excuse me, the first doors on the car didn’t open.” The conductor responded that we’d had an equipment malfunction and explained that the car was actually in the tunnel which is why the doors didn’t open.
I don’t think this is the time-saving station skipping WMATA had in mind.
I still dont understand why my info is stored in all the other blogs I visit but not yours but anyways…
That is BAD… wow! I’d be livid!
Ah, Metro life. <3
Also this made the Express Blog Log. 😉
Lolypup: It’s something to do with cookies? I dunno. 1/2 the time, my info is stored in places and other times not.
Liz: I kinda had a feeling that this might make Express. It’s right up their “DC Life” alley. 🙂
