Yes We Can? YES WE DID.

I’m pretty much overwhelmed right now. Horns are honking, people in my building are screaming, people outside are cheering, fireworks are going off. I’m getting dressed to meet Kyle and go out and do.. SOMETHING… as soon as I stop crying.

This is simply incredible.

Yes, it is incredible. It’s so weird to be watching the election returns and feeling happy … it’s been such a long time!

Ditto, Chris. I look forward to turning on the TV that January morning to see the inauguration.

Now it’s waiting with bated breath for more local election results.

My boyfriend and I both cried. And then we went to a bar and had a Jameson and Strongbow and toasted at what we can really do.

This is the first time in a long time….actually I think this is the first time ever I have truly believed a candidate when he said he wants to bring change to America. I wept openly during his speech and still think this is all surreal. Amazing…now does anyone know how to get in to see the inauguration ceremony?

Boy did my phone blow up when he won, it was great 😀

I choke up now every time I look at the paper and see him and his family on there.
