booze: from the land of pleasant living
Spotted near the trash bins outside my building. I think I love the tagline the most: From the Land of Pleasant Living. Why yes, I do live rather pleasantly whenever possible. I’m not a beer person at all, but it gave me a little smile. Something I needed before heading to the Safeway in low 30s temps, but I have food in the house now and that’s all that matters.
I am a cider person though and in the vein of living pleasantly, I picked up a 6 pack of Woodchuck’s Limited Release Oak Aged cider last night. I normally go for their sweeter ciders, not liking the Granny Smith or Dark/Amber, but this looked interesting. It tastes amazing, it took a few sips to realize that it’s sort of spiced with Winter in mind, but not overbearing. I’ll have to grab another 6 sometime today!
Ooh… I must remember to pick some of that up when I return to D.C.

Wasn’t (isn’t?) there a cigarette with the tag line “alive with pleasure”? Seems to go right along with the land of pleasant living. 🙂

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
