Check your Facts and Cite your Sources!
Saw this shared on Facebook over the weekend. Ironically, the page who freebooted the image didn’t cite their own source for it.

The image comes from a post at Alaska Robotics, who remixed a classic World War II propaganda poster.
It’s a delightful reminder to anyone that’s dealt with a rapidly shared image on Facebook or who’s tried to engage in a debate in a comments thread. People often pull information out of thin air… or their butts, and stand firm by it as though it were gospel.
To put it another way, you don’t want to be the person saying, “Well I saw it on the internet, so it must be true!”
