We had to play against a friend’s team this week and there was much trash talking and name callin’ but they turned out to be some good games, very close ones until the last one. I got hand and leg ouchies during the first game and I was off the whole night, but I didn’t do so badly to let the team down. Roomie had a good night, but with his “method” of bowling, it’s hard to tell what will happen when he lets that ball go. But he’s the type that won’t be told how to improve, god forbid you give him pointers. Still, 5th place isn’t bad considering that we’ ve usually ended up coming in much lower in past seasons. And being 8 points off the first place team in the last quarter of the season is pretty damn good.
Any suggestions for our next team name? We’ve been “The Powerpuff Girls”, “Hot Monkey Love” and now “Slap and Tickle” – we’re thinking “Evil Bitches” for the next go-round.
