weirdness…

I listened to the alleged phone meet-up recording made by Schrock… if that’s really him, whoo-boy.
On the metro this morning I ran into Bailey Spence* an old manager from CSC at my last job. He looked kinda beat down, but then he always looked like that. He asked if I was still doing technical writing.. or graphics.. and I let him know that I was doing web development and it was a really good gig. I can’t tell if he was feeling me out to see if I wanted to jump ship or not, but from what he said, the employees on my old contract have now been split up between three locations (a Help Desk.. off-site.. that makes them like India). Thankfully I didn’t have to talk to him long as I don’t really have anything to say to him. How are you supposed to make small talk with the guy that said “Don’t worry, we’ve got some things opening up for you.” after you’ve been told you’re being laid off, and then this guy vanishes into the woodwork. Ah well.
