I do love The Brand New Heavies.. and they change singers about as often as they do pants, but the new one, Nicole Russo.. in this video and on their promo material for the new album All About The Funk, she looks like Olivia Newton-John from Grease after Sandy’s makeover.
The album’s definitely more pop/soul than acid jazz like their previous outings, but it’s still fun to listen to.
