The cheese, it BURNS!

This won’t really appeal to anyone aside from the geeks out there. I’ve been keeping up with the animated show The Batman. It’s not horrible, but it’s definitely no Batman: The Animated Series, nor is it Justice League (Unlimited) but it does have its moments. The recent two-part arc featured the Martian Manhunter and the plot was an alien race threatening the world — starting from Waynetech in Gotham, of course.

Up until now, “The Batman” hadn’t featured anyone aside from Batman’s rogue’s gallery and no other super heroes aside from the Bat Family. So you had to figure if this features an outside hero there had to be a Justice League, there was even a mention of Metropolis in the episode. Well at the very end, the invitation is extended, but oh. my. god. the cheesy, SO cheesy. Clearly Supes and Wondy weren’t licensed for appearances in the series, but just check out the JLA “satellite”. I choked on my juice when I saw it.

As a saying around the internet goes, “I’m Batman. And I can breathe in space.”

I honestly can’t believe they went THAT cheesy with it. Why does the Watchtower gotta look like the Hall of Justice… why!?

Speaking of Wondy, when the hell are they going to get off the ground with her movie? There’s been talk about it for the past couple of years, but no real development. There was the hiring and no longer using the one director. In the meantime, she could keep busy with some cameos.
