Well, that was pretty painless…
It’s all done, files have been backed up, copied over, transferred and updated and I am live at blog.urbanbohemian.com. For now the initial site still points to the same database, but all the links will take the blog. heading. It was fairly simple, now I just have to see if I can delete the wp install on the main url without deleting all the files, but since they’re backed up at this point, it doesn’t matter.
Also, for extra-geeky goodness, I installed Civilization IV last night and applied the Fall from Heaven II mod which completely makes it over as a Fantasy-almost-RPG style, magic spells, xp/level advancement and all. So that’ll keep me plenty busy and away from the chores that I should be working on. 🙂
