Vinyl isn’t dead…
It lives on as interesting photography projects! The sleeveface pool on flickr has a lot of great photos of people posing with album covers completing the facial or other portions of their bodies. [from Boing Boing]
I’ve never participated in one of these pools because I don’t think my photography skills are up to the task, nor do I have a pool of willing victims to photograph and be photographed. I still think they’re pretty cool. An old favorite is the Transparent Screens pool, also interesting today was the New Yorker’s Eustace Tilley contest to makeover the New Yorker’s iconic cover dandy. Among the various entries, this was one of my favorites and this one made me giggle.
