photo: gambling gnomes?

I’ve heard of garden gnomes getting up to some strange things in backyards, but nothing prepared me for finding telltale signs of a gnome gambling ring in the planters on my patio…

Having a ground floor patio in a multi-story building, I’ve found all sorts of things in my “backyard”. Mostly cigarette butts, but the occasional cap, shirt, plastic bag… and more cigarette butts. But I can’t imagine what was going on either above or next to my place that would cause a single die to so precisely land in the remains of my garden. Alley craps game? Over-enthusiastic roll during Dungeons & Dragons?

Who knows? Just one of those DC things, I guess! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
