taxes suck

Ok, I did my federal taxes, and wound up with a refund of over $600. Not much, I know, but enough to make me think, wow, all those deductions are really worth it. However I just did my VA taxes online and on paper and I owe $2017. Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit! So now I have to be ultra-careful with my funds, pretty much stock up the federal refund and sit on it, probably not have any kind of fun in Vegas aside from just being there, and do gods know what to stay afloat in the meantime until I actually have enough money to pay VA what I “owe” them.

*sigh* Moving to Virginia was supposed to be a good thing. I thought. Yeesh.

I placed a personal ad today, so maybe that will help somewhat in the social life department. I just feel like I can’t keep up anymore, just when you feel like you’ve got it together, *jab*, there’s life again to remind you that “oh yeah, your life sucks.” So I guess it’s a good thing that I’m trying to auction stuff off like nobody’s business. I need the friggin money.
