Beta testing

Last night after attempting to read Solitaire for an hour and failing to get anywhere, I logged onto the City of Heroes beta servers and there was an alien invasion.
This thread shows it best. With pictures, even.
It was kinda cool and kinda annoying. Massive battles with at least 30-50 participants each, but I guess that’s the best way for the developers to determine the server’s capacity. It was just that the alien bosses were nigh indestructable, so the fights were exercises in futility, and we kept getting sent back to the hospital each time.
But considering that the game goes live in a few days and they expect to be blitzed with users, it didn’t fare all that badly. Especially since there will be twice the servers on launch.
