I was always secretly kinda pondering getting TiVo, even with my new Media Center PC.. but now I dunno. And I can’t even begin to think what’s wrong with the whole commercial/fast fowarding thing. That’s just craziness. The bill would permit people to use tech to skip objectionable content but not to skip commericals or promotional announcements “that would otherwise be performed or displayed before, during or after the performance of the motion picture.” I dunno about you, but I object to hearing that stupid tinny little fanfare before being allowed to access the friggin’ MENU on my dvds.
